Thursday Sport Shot Leagues First Night

The Thursday night Sport Shot League at Cherry Bowl started last night.

Some of us bowled well and some of us bowled not so well on the 2016 Open Championship singles and doubles pattern. But all in all it was a great start to the summer league. I think everyone that was in attendance would say that this league is demanding and that it will help with accuracy and ball choices for those other events you’ll face in the future.  It will and does take some good concentration every frame to pull off a good shot consecutively, just like this years 2016 Open Championships. I like the challenge the patterns give us this year. I feel it opens our eyes to just how hard we have to work at becoming better then we were going into it. House shots are fun and to some degree a tad on the easy scale but still fun! These harder shots we face, like the Open Championship, Junior Gold and the Team USA Trial patterns are good for us individually as well as for the Sport of bowling as a whole IMO.

I also find the harder shots to be fun! I find laughter when I make the errand shot and my ball doesn’t come back from the 3 board. It’s that moment when I say to myself,” I don’t know why you just threw that their, knowing there isn’t an adult bumper down lane, LOL!”

Last night Michelle at Cherry Bowl, announced that if anyone joins the Sport Shot League (which you CAN JOIN at ANY TIME!) in the upcoming weeks. They will receive a $25 gift card that can be used for anything from bowling games, food at the snack bar and even inside Shooters Lounge (For the Adults). As you read this please LIKE, SHARE and TAG a friend on this post so that they might be able to join and grab this great deal!

I would like to add that I am very proud of everyone that was in attendance last night. For some of us already made some good strides towards making better shots. I’m sure by the end of the summer Sport Shot league, we will all be better than we were when we came in. #FutureForOurSport
